RUNWADE

November 24, 2014 by Billi Kid

Last week In The Paint raised $4,500 for the Wade's World Foundation while at the 3rd Annual A NIGHT ON THE RUNWADE. Fashion meets charity to benefit Wade’s World Foundation. A NIGHT ON THE RUNWADE featured culinary delights, spirits, entertainment and exciting auction items, including an original In The Paint artwork created by Dwyane Wade. In The Paint hung a small sampling of the WADE COLLECTION at this event. Here, Wade signs the first in a series of beautiful artworks.

ITP Li-Ning Wade Sneaker Print

ITP Li-Ning Wade Sneaker Print

October 25, 2014 by Billi Kid

On August 4, 2014, Dwyane Wade, while painting our ALL-Star basketball court in Miami, created a series of Li-Ning Wade sneaker prints on canvas provided to him. Coupled with a few signatures he also created on this same canvas, we thought it an amazing gift for VIPs who generously supported every step (pun intended) of the In The Paint (ITP) process. Check out the video on our home page shows one SMALL Wade STEP for ITP, one GIANT LEAP for art and sport.

It's been a little over 8 weeks since we came together at the Brisky Gallery in Miami to create something special and historic. The manifestation of a unique space where sport and art collide titled, In the Paint. Special thanks to those who worked hard behind the scenes to make it all happen. Billi Kid and Dwyane Wade

August 12, 2014 by Billi Kid

Billi Kid and the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade are up to something pretty special.

Kid, a contemporary urban artist teamed up with Wade last week for the production of In the Paint—The Wade Collection 2014.

In collaboration with Public Works Department, Kid and company setup shop at Brisky Gallery in Miami’s Wynwood Art District for a two-hour session that involved hardwood floors, basketballs, shoes, and plenty of paint.

The collection will feature original artwork created on the most unique canvas imaginable—the hardwood of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game (yes, the actual floor of an NBA basketball court)—with Wade himself putting the paint on the canvas the only way he knows how, with a basketball.
